Visited Pat's Place on my holiday to Barbados. Came here 4 times this is a must try. I recommend the Mahi Mahi grilled fish with macaroni pie and salad. I also recommend trying the fried flying fish, rice and peas and plantain. All were delicious but the rice n peas and Mahi Mahi fish stole the show. Friday is extremely busy due to the music and entertainment but I also visited on a Monday, Tuesday and Saturday lunch time for less crowds. Seating available. They accept card and cash. Some parking available at Oistins fish market car park. Greta vibes on a Friday by the way.

wow… absolutely amazing food. I ordered the grilled red snapper and it was SO flavorful and fresh. I actually loved that they kept the head on the snapper, it made the whole experience feel authentic and honestly it was kind of funny too 😂 The macaroni pie with the fish was incredible, definitely one of my favourite parts of the meal. The only small thing I’d mention is that eating the fish can be a little difficult because of the bones still being in it, and the fork and knife they give you make it a bit harder to cut through. But honestly, that’s just part of ordering a whole fish and not really something they can do much about. My biggest recommendation: go earlier in the day. Me and my group got there around 4 PM and lined up right away. The wait was only about 15 minutes and we were actually able to find somewhere to sit, which is important because seating gets really hard to find later on. Other restaurants usually won’t let you sit in their area unless you buy from them. We ate first, then spent the rest of the evening walking around, dancing, listening to music, and enjoying the atmosphere. Such a fun experience overall. Definitely recommend if you’re in Barbados 🇧🇧

We went for a dinner,my partner chose the mahi mahi and I went for the swordfish. Mine was a little dry but well seasoned, my partner's dish was really tasty. The atmosphere was really good.We were lucky as there was no queue but we got there after 6pm.

When they say you get what you pay for, they’re not talking about Pat’s. Sooooo much food. The grilled mahi mahi was of the best things we ate all week. Enough food for two Americans with each plate. The red snapper was curried and delicious. Macaroni salad was the best side that we tried. Should have gone back for another meal. The fried fish that I saw come out for another person left me wanting it all week.

(02/2026) We are posting this review for the second time, as the previous one was removed. We tried the fried flying fish, as it’s a Barbadian specialty, but found it quite overpriced for the portion size (40 BBD for two small fillets with a side). While the food was decent, we don’t fully understand the hype or the hour-long Friday lines. Canned beer from Dreadhop Brewing is available (10 BBD for a small can). Card payments are accepted.
