Although on the busy stretch of the road the Hotel is quiet which is exactly what I was looking for. The room and surrounding areas are exceptionally clean. I had daily housekeeping clean my room without requesting. I can’t say much about food as i ordered from outside for the most part of my stay. I had Shrimp Alfredo Pasta twice, it was so good!! I spent most of my time sipping cocktails at the Kitchen Bar and had the best of cocktails I have ever had. Wonderful Restaurant team, some highlights for the best service I encountered at the Restaurant are CHRYSTEL, MILISSA, LETICIA AND WENDY. They went above and beyond and addressed me by my name each time I walked up to the bar. At the front Desk my check in and check out was done by JAI and he was very professional and efficient too, he also addressed me by name on check out even before presenting my ID, that is what I consider personalized service.SHAADE was of great assistance with my multiple questions, and she kept a smile each time I walked past the reception. The only area of service that missed was my transportation from the airport to the Hotel on Arrival, although I had contacted the Hotel to prepare me transportation it wasn’t done. I had to book a taxi at the airport to the Hotel. Not a big issue, Barbados is easy to navigate. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.
Update to my previous complaint. Courtyard saw my review from back in January on how my birthday went which wasn't good. So, they emailed me to collect a voucher as their form of an apolgy. And, despite my frustration in January, I decided to accept the voucher and see how service would have been this time around because my first time was great (pasta night) and the second time was terrible (birthday). I must say, it was a 10/10.. the staff were even sweeter than before and made sure everything was going well. We went to the Sunday Lunch Buffet, food was nice and READY. I'd just encourage persons that if you are looking to make reservations, ensure they make note (I called twice this time around to make sure). I'd definitely recommend persons to try the Sunday Lunch Buffet which is every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month! I believe where recognition is deserved it should be heard, so thank you for making my third time going a good one.
American Airlines put us up here overnight due to maintenance issues with our plane, and it was a pleasant stay. The staff on-site were incredibly polite and welcoming. While the property is a little dated, it is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The food was surprisingly amazing—far better than what you typically get at Marriott facilities in the USA. It is also an easy and SAFE walk to the beach and restaurants, and it features a very quiet, clean pool and sun deck. Enjoy.
This trip was unforgettable because of the VIP service I was greeted with, all of this because Aaliyah helped me coordinate all my logistics from the Car Service desk and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time - she would source restaurants, activities, massages, sightseeing, all that with the biggest smile on her face. Last, but definitely not least Chris was my driver throughout my entire stay, he also went above and beyond to make sure I saw the beauty and activities Barbados had to offer - from late nights to early mornings he was reliable and friendly the whole time - together Aaliyah and Chris are a dream team. When returning back to Barbados rest assured I will 100% recruiting them back to my team, I wish I could have them in every corner of the world with me!!
This is a business hotel not a beach resort. The staff are excellent. Food is good. Was a good option when our flight was cancelled. Pool is nice. Hotel is across the road from the beach and so you have to carry beach chairs and towels down a flight of stairs to a rocky beach. Entire hotel is no smoking which I very much appreciated. Located next to two very nice bar restaurants
