Had a lovely meal to celebrate a graduation. Everything came out perfect and our server Chanel had excellent knowledge of the menu. To top it all off she sent a complimentary dessert. Highly recommend this spot!!!
Service - amazing. Employees all extremely warm, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. Food was delicious. Loved the warm goat cheese salad, the striped bass with ratatouille, and the ice cream! The restaurant itself is adorable, such a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone who is in the area! We stayed at the Wyndham Grand and it was nice to grab a meal offsite nearby. We dined at Le Shack for the 1st time on May 19th 2026. Dinner was ok. We had the avocado salad for the appetizer which was delicious. Main course was salmon and the fried chicken. Salmon entree gets a 4/5 the fried chicken was a good portion but tasteless the veggies with it were good so this gets a 3/5. Dessert was chocolate mousse. It was ok. Noted: a couple who got seated while we were eating got bread which we did not. We asked about it and then they brought the bread. 2 pieces were in our basket in their 4. The server was not attentive never scanning her tables to see if her table needed anything. That brought the service rating down for us. Decor 5/5 👌🏾
We stayed at The Crane which is 5min walk from this place and Crane's food is not even half as quality as this restaurant. Crane should learn from La Shack. Le Shack is low key place that you can easily miss from the road. Food quality is excellent. Desert was fantastic. This place has good vibe mixed with good french music and friendly staff. We came here to eat but we got dining experience.
An absolutely outstanding dining experience at Le Shack Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was exceptional across the board, but two dishes truly stood out. The chicken liver mousse was phenomenal, rich, silky smooth and beautifully balanced with incredible depth of flavour. Quite honestly one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The homemade burger was equally impressive. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavourful and clearly made with quality ingredients and attention to detail. Comfort food elevated to another level. Le Shack has managed to create that perfect balance between relaxed atmosphere and high-quality dining. Fantastic food, excellent service and a memorable overall experience. I’ll absolutely be back.
