A nice stop off either just for a break or as part of visiting the GW house. Pleasant seating indoor or outside, good facilities and a varied choice of food and drinks on offer at decent prices. Welcoming staff, a friendly atmosphere and probably the best chocolate brownie I've ever tasted. Excellent.
Wow! This place is just a stones throw away from Sugar Bay Hotel - about eight minutes away. Lovely atmosphere and music and the breakfast was delicious and filling. I will definitely come again before my trip ends - thoroughly recommend 😍
The George Washington is a hidden gem. Surrounded by paradise like gardens and serving arguably the best coffee / frappes the island has to offer. The food is amazing and we tried most of the dishes during our many return visits. We were served by the beautiful Jazaria on the first visit and she remembered everyone’s order even where we were sitting the next time we came! The cafe is situated about 2 mins from the main road, right beside the Garrison Savannah Turfclub racecourse and attached to the George Washington museum. The French Toast was my personal favourite and the veggy burger and turfclub burgers were also delicious. There are set breakfast items or you can created your own; sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, omelettes, beans, toast, hash browns etc. A beautiful cool breeze blew through the shaded outdoor seating area while there was also indoor seating if preferred. Walking distance from the Radisson & Hilton hotels - 5 mins
This is a nice little gem on the island. My chief complaint is that the food came out and it was almost room temperature - didn’t feel entirely like it was made fresh upon us ordering. Other than that, service was great. The food selection was also really decent and just a tad overpriced. It still is a must go for the island
My husband and I had breakfast here before going through the George Washington Audio tour. The service was quick, but not rushed. The staff were so friendly and doing their absolute best to make sure we had what we needed. The food was amazing! And the coffee!! My goodness. The rum cream latte was delicious, all of the coffee was and food.
