  • Visitor's must have a local driver's permit which are available from either a police station near you (Oistin's Police Station, Hastings Police Station, Worthing Police Station, Speightstown Licensing Authority and The Barbados Licensing Authority located at The Pine, St.Michael) or most rental companies will issue the permit's when the vehicle is delivered to your hotel or the airport.
  • Visitor's must be over 25 years and a valid driver's license from your own country must be presented in order to obtain the permit to drive in Barbados.
  • The cost of the driver's permit is BDS$10 (US$5) which is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
