I was headed to Fisherman's Pub, but they (and most other restaurants) were closed...so I ended up at La Plage out of necessity. But it was a lovely surprise! The fish cutter with chips (fries; $25 B altogether) were delicious. I devoured them while seated at the ocean-facing bar-type seating, with club bangers from my 20s playing. In other words, heaven. The bar that shares the same space was also excellent. The bartender, Stefan, even came and sat next to me to take my order (and answer my million questions) so I wouldn't have to get up. His rum punch was delicious, and STRONG! And after I finished eating, he gave me directions and even walked me out to point me the right way toward Chefette for some ice cream. Simple but excellent food and drinks, reasonably priced, with above-and-beyond friendly service, and right on the beach. What more could you want???
Food was excellent and great value for money. The bar service was excellent and the Girl that served us was also great, she made us feel especially welcome :)
Cocktail bar is amazing and the people and vibes are immaculate. That being said I booked in the morning and we got there early but they had almost NOTHING from the menu available. The food was meh, probably one of the worst meals we had on the island. Just annoying they didn’t tell us in advance they had so few options available, kinda felt screwed over. Nice vibe for cocktails but skip if you’re after good food.
Some of the best food I've had on the Island!!!! Better than most restaurants!! Love the local vibe and setting. Beach front! The bar is excellent! They really know how to make drinks! 10/10 not some trash watered down drinks! They are all super friendly and kind. We ordered the fish cutter and burger. Flavors were exquisite and mouth watering and not the mention the prices are half of that you would pay anywhere else! We will be back for sure! Can't wait to try the lobster next time. And if you want hotter hot sauce, mention it to them and they will custom make you a hotter version 🔥🔥🔥
I called ahead to make sure we could get a table since there were eight of us. DJ answered the phone and assured us he would have a table for us. We arrived at 5pm like I asked and DJ and the staff were waiting for us and had our table ready. Then we ordered drinks and our food and everything was fantastic. We had burgers, pasta, fish sandwiches and even had a chicken wrap. Every single dish was delicious. And the dirty little secret is that their prices are nearly half that of the other restaurants near by. Great drinks, great staff, great food, great prices with a great view. Thanks, we loved it.
