We spent the day (2 adults, 1 teen, I child) and truly enjoyed our time. We did the chair and umbrella deal which came with food credits. We arrived right at opening time and was able to get a great spot. Our waiter was great and explained how everything worked. He provided prompt and friendly service. I believe his name was Zach. I would definitely recommend for a beach day with the kids. The waves were mild enough that my 6 year old could swim comfortably. The only downside was the food is just "ok", but we will certainly return when in Barbados.
This place is a nice chill spot. Beautiful views right onto the beach. It was quite a chilled vibe although the music was very quiet - we did go out of season in June / July. The staff were attentive and offered great service, food was ok - we ate far better meals elsewhere on the island but it is a bar and not a restaurant. We used this spot as an end of day chill before the evening. Atmosphere hearing the waves etc was amazing. They do offer loungers etc during the day but we didn't use this facility.
10/10 bar with really good cocktails. We came on an evening for drinks and came back to sit on the lounger on the beach. When you buy a lounger you get credit back at bar!
The best thing about this place are the atmosphere. View if the beach is awesome and great place to just chil. Drink were okay. The food was decent. I obviously didnt have everything but the fish cakes 3.5/5 were good. Fries were trash 1/5 Service is slow.
I enjoyed a truly special, memorable day, at this excellent bar-eatery, situated on the beach. Most importantly : the service. It was perfect. Just perfect. Something which is so hard to find, nowadays, anywhere in this world… The person behind the bar who took care of me, for several hours, is the best barman that you can ever imagine. I was mainly drinking juice with rum (nothing else in it… these rum-punches are too spicy, plus with some heavy syrup in it… not my cup of tea - so to speak… -) So this wonderful guy, and all his colleagues on the job, were working hard, hard, hard, so very hard behind the bar, with total professionalism, with virtuosity. I assume it was the same in the kitchen. You can also have food at this establishment. And it is very good. There are tables where can savor your dishes. There is a very nice, beautiful beach just next to this bar-diner. Rent your chairs and parasol, get into the clean and warm water (there are sometimes rocks or sneaky urchins at the bottom, so be careful, or use appropriate footwear… it is the same pretty much everywhere in Barbados… but the beach is perfect, and the sea is marvelous… as is the ocean, btw…), then go get your drinks and food. And repeat. As many times as you can. Satisfaction guaranteed. Guys, I am the - not so young but not too old client - who «introduced» you to the song «one bourbon, one scotch and one beer», which you immediately found and put on the speakers, and we all enjoyed together; the young man who, for hours, was cutting and squeezing the lemons. started dancing with the song, all the while continuing to work… it was truly a magical moment… George thorogood himself would have joined us, if he could ! Thank you for everything. You are the best. No wonder you live in paradise.
