Such a beautiful space and definitely worth visiting. What I loved most is that as you walk in off the main street, entering this space feels like stepping into a completely different world. From the outside, you would never expect how open, relaxing, and beautifully curated it is inside, and I really loved that contrast. There’s a little bit of everything all in one place — a charming artisan shop, boutique, coffee spot, restaurant, and relaxed beachfront lounge areas where you can just sit, unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere. Whether you’re in the mood for coffee, brunch, or simply relaxing by the beach, they have options for all of it. The entire space feels warm, intentional, and inviting. The staff were all incredibly professional, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better. Overall, it’s just a really cool place to hang out and spend time. Beautiful atmosphere, great energy, and definitely somewhere I’d recommend visiting.
This place is amazing. We are not foodies by any means, but here we felt like we were. Delicious food, me, fish tacos, SO, veggie curry. We also had rum punch and a delicious torte. Our server(?), Eddie, was awesome. Eddie, I hope you heed our advice and travel, travel. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we have 10 more days, we may be back. Cheers.
This fabulous restaurant has everything. Walk in from the main street into the amazing Coffee bar & small boutique. The aroma of coffee beans hits you as you enter. Pass the cosy settees into the open restaurant set right on the beach, or chill outside right on the beach. The Food is " organic" and beautifully presented. It is of high quality so a little expensive, but worth it. Staff are wonderfully attentive & professional. Although some of last year's staff had moved on. All of the Front of house to behind kitchen Staff work hard and are friendly. Christian in the beach part was particularly charismatic and professional. See below 2 dishes I have eaten here. Can heartily recommend the Tacos.
Local & Co was on my list of critiques for this year . We had the crudo sampler, (recommend a side of breadfruit chips) jerk pork bites , mahi and lobster, chicken curry (please present it better and add cauliflour ) presentation was not appealing compared to the rest. Appetite starts with the eye . Service was excellent . Our bar tender was TOP notch and we enjoyed a rum sampling . The place itself is very charming and inviting . Cocktails were also amazing and very well presented . Will return to try different menu options . Highly recommended !
My partner and I chose Local & Co for our Valentine’s dinner and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. A huge shoutout to Mckele, Shareece and Marlon for their exceptional service. They were welcoming and truly made the evening feel special. Marlon made sure everything flowed perfectly throughout the night. We started with the beetroot cured king fish and the spicy beef tartare, both were absolutely delicious. In fact, they were so good that we immediately ordered a second round of starters! That alone says it all. For our mains, I had the creole spiced lobster tail and my partner chose the skillet free range chicken. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and full of flavor. While the lobster itself was fantastic, the breadfruit coucou that accompanied it wasn’t quite to my personal taste but everything else on the plate was excellent. For dessert, we both had the sea salt caramel rum tart with banana ice cream and it was the perfect sweet ending to the night. The cocktails were also well made and complemented the meal nicely. Before heading home, we stopped by The Commons Social Club and the vibe there was amazing, stylish and a great way to wrap up the evening. Another shoutout to Mckele for holding it down and keeping the energy just right. Overall, it was a memorable Valentine’s celebration and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
