Entry is Open for the 2020 event!  Save the Dates: 4th to 8th November, 2020.

This year will be the 9th edition of the Barbados Open Water Festival.  Five fantastic days - three days of practice swims (2K) in three different locations (dinner available after) and two days of races (1.5K, 3.3K, 5K and 10K) in Carlisle Bay. Swim one day or swim all. Recreational to elite. Timing by Sportstats. Finisher Medals. Age Category Winner Medals.  All ages and abilities welcome. Home base is Copacabana Beach Bar on Bay Street.

Every year a diverse mix of swimmers of all ages and abilities arrive from all over the world and five days of “fun and fabulous” begins!  The heart-warming camaraderie between swimmers, all with the shared passion for open water, coupled with the ideal conditions of the magnificent Carlisle Bay, make for a fantastic Festival in an exotic destination.  So much in store this year.

The 2020 event is expected to bring more excellent conditions, great prizes, barbecue, kayaking and SUPing after the swim races and an all day beach party with music on the beach, presentations under shade tents, ice cold beer and Rum punch!
