Event Details
Water Polo in Barbados enjoyed its glory days in the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's, however, there was a very quiet period during the 80's where there was no water polo played in Barbados. The opening of the Aquatic Centre in 1990 played a vital role in reviving the sport.
The Barbados Water Polo Club hosted the inaugural staging of this tournament in 2013 in memory of their dear friend who passed away in 2010. The tournament ended up being a small one, with three male teams and two ladies' teams, but it was a great tournament.
The dates posted here are still to be confirmed.
This year's competition begins at 8am and will be in the following divisions:
14 and Under Coed
16 and Under Male
18 and Under Male
16 and Under Female
18 and Under Female
On the Final day, there will be beach games at the beautiful Pebbles Beach.
